the snack revolution begins

Hi, world! We kicked off the snack revolution last month. Our goal? Make Brooklyn tastier, crunchier, and healthier. Read on to see how that went down.

In December, Eatrageous hit the streets (and taste buds) of Brooklyn for the first time. We opened the month at the Greenpointers Holiday Market and offered free samples to nearly 500 hungry holiday shoppers. The only thing that excited the shoppers more than the prospect of mac n’ cheese chips was the fact that they could purchase said chips locally at The Garden on 921 Manhattan Ave. right there in Greenpoint. As sponsors, we were fortunate enough to work alongside Brooklyn Brewery, Seamless, Uber, Cafe Grumpy and Sailor Jerry. Special thanks to Greenpointers for having us!

Later in the month, we partnered with The Wild Honey Pie, a Brooklyn- based collective of writers, videographers, and graphic designers focused on exposing local bands to music fans and tastemakers alike, for their annual birthday event. We tossed out tons of free chips and swag alongside Brooklyn’s very own Steve’s Ice Cream while Canon Logic, ARMS, Monogold, and Wilsen provided us with an awesome snacking soundtrack. Apparently, our Original Sea Salt flavor goes very well with ice cream!

Keep an eye out for some even bigger, tastier, crunchier Brooklyn events this January. As of now, we’re slated to make an appearance at TedxGowanus on January 26th. Stay tuned for details.
